In the event you receive a notification in the mail from the IRS or any state agency, it is important to send us a copy of your notice immediately.  Many of these notices are time sensitive and should be addressed immediately.  Please feel free to email, fax or drop off any notices to ensure we are in receipt of the documents.  Once received, we will be able to provide you guidance on how to address the notice with the respective agency.   Please note that the IRS and other tax agencies will send you a letter in the mail if there is a problem or question about your tax return(s).  These agencies do not call or provide sensitive information over the internet.  We advise our clients to not share any of their personal information over the phone and/or internet as this is usually indicative of a scam or fraudulent activity.  Please contact our office for additional information if this occurs.
